Background of the district

 

History is a mirror or mirror of the nation. Through history, the nation can see its real nature and nature. In the light of history, man searches for his current and future path. Kishoreganj district has a long history and its tradition is widely spread. Kishoreganj District is known as the largest district of the district, it is recognized as the most popular district. Kishoreganj has a rich history in the form of eternal variations of rural Bengal and golden traditions. On May 01, 1787, Mymensingh, the largest district of the Indian subcontinent, was established. Today Kishoreganj district was in Mymensingh. Though historically, it is seen that the ancient amazes of Bajitpur, Nikli, Hossainpur and Jangalbari are much higher, but Kishoreganj is recognized as the traditional district today, because the above mentioned areas of ancient history are present in Kishoreganj. An analysis of elements of isolated history, it was known that during the epic period it belonged to the kingdom of Kamarupa. Then Gupta, Barman, Pala and Sena dynasty ruled the region. However, no dynasty could control this region completely. At that time, the presence of small and small independent states was noticed in this region. Jungalbari of Kishoreganj was the seat of the independent small kingdom. In the medieval period, Muslim rule was expanded during the time of Alauddin Husain Shah (1493-1519) in Greater Mymensingh. The entire Kishoreganj zone, which is occupied by the coaches, came under the rule of Emperor Akbar.


Kishoreganj sub-division was born in 1860 AD. Mr. Bakseel was the first administrator of the subdivision. The present Kishoreganj was involved in the then Jowar Hossainpur Pargana. At the end of the eighteenth century, the Kishoreganj area was popularly known as "Katakhali". It is assumed from the opinion of the wise that the name of Kishoreganj was added by the name of 'Kishore' and its established hat or Ganj 'ganj' in favor of the zamindar of the district, in the opinion of the zamindar of the district.
