Details
The Fort of Isha Khan is a historical archaelogical sign. It is situated at the village of Egarosindur under Pakundia Upazila of Kishoreganj district. Isha Khan, the leader of the Baro-Bhuyans inspired by patriotism erupted the war to protect his motherland. Isha Khan declared himself as the independent king and defied to pay tax to the Mughal Emperor. Isha Khan attacked Egarosindur, the capital of Bebud king and captured it easily during fierce fight against Mughal in his capital Sunargaon. He established a strong fort to protect the dominance of the imperialist Mughals.
