Details

Kutub Shah Mosque is an archaeological sign and is one of the most ancient mosques in Bangladesh. Which is located at Austagram upazila of  Kishoreganj district . A saint ‘ Kutub Shah’ (R.) built this five domed mosque in 16th century. There is shrine of Kutub Shah (R.)  attached to the mosuqe. It is said that Hazrat Kutub Shah (R.) was one of the 360 awlia came along with Hazrat Shah Jalal (R.).  Hazrat Shah Jalal (R.) came Bangladesh on the eve of 14th cntury and conquered Srihatta in 1303. Kutub Shah mosque has been named by the name of Hazrat Kutub Shah (R.). In 1909 the then Archaeology department  listed this as a protected site.
