The temple of Sri Sri Gopinath Jeur built about 500 years ago is one of the ancient architectural reminiscences of the period of Isha Kha, one of the Bara Bhuiyans of Bengal. The temple is located at the Achmita Vog Bengal area, three kilometers north of Katiadi upazila headquarters in Kishoreganj. This ancient temple was built by the feudal lord Nabaranga Roy in 1575 during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Kutamon Dighi located next to the temple also stands as a memorial to King Nabaranga Roy. In terms of architecture, this temple bears a striking resemblance to the ancient temples of Odisha, India. It is said that King Nabaranga Roy dreamt of building this temple. On the way of entrance of the temple, there is an old bridge which is similar to the design of Panam Nagar city. Besides this, there are Dolomrito Adi temple, original temple, Jhulon temple, Gundicha temple and three ponds. The biggest Ratha yatra of the East Bengal was held in this temple. Now, different structures of the temple are breaking down day by day.
